Public governance
Moderation policy
Version 1 · effective 2026-07-15
Discussion rules
- Discuss the work, collection, or claim without attacking the person behind it.
- Do not post hate speech, targeted harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, or private identifying information.
- Do not use spam, coordinated manipulation, or repeated off-topic disruption to drown out discussion.
- Disagreement about taste or a rating is not a policy violation by itself.
Reports, decisions, and appeals
- Each account can report a comment once. Duplicate submissions do not increase its priority.
- Three unique reports flag a comment for priority review; reports never hide content automatically.
- A curator or administrator reviews the context and records a reason before hiding content or dismissing the reports.
- The comment author may submit one appeal for each hide decision. A different review can uphold or reverse the decision.
Reports and appeals are private between the reporter or author and the moderation team. Public readers see only whether a comment was hidden.
